Paul Clement – Siogopi

Tanzanian gospel singer Paul Clement is back with “Siogopi”. You can stream and download Paul Clement Siogopi MP3 right here.

“Siogopi” means “I am not afraid” in Swahili. It’s a bold thing to say, especially when life gets hard. The song isn’t saying troubles won’t come. It’s saying that when they do, fear doesn’t get the final word, because God is right there. It’s the same confidence David had in Psalm 23 when he said he would fear no evil, even walking through the darkest valley, because the Lord was with him.

We all have something we’re afraid of, whether it’s the future, a diagnosis, money problems or what people will say. This song is a good reminder to hand those fears over to God. Play it when worry keeps you up at night, before a big exam or interview, or send it to a friend who needs some courage today.
