In Swahili, “Ila Yesu” means “except Jesus” or “no one but Jesus.” It’s a short phrase, but it carries a big message: when everything else fails, Jesus is still the one who saves, heals and stays faithful. As the “2.0” in the title suggests, this is a fresh take on “Ila Yesu”, with Isaiah Charles adding his voice to the song.

This is a song for the days when you need to be reminded where your help comes from. Put it on while you pray, play it on your way to work, or share it with a friend who’s going through a hard season. Choirs and worship teams looking for a Swahili song with a clear, simple message may also want to learn this one.
