“Hallelujah” comes from Hebrew and means “Praise the Lord.” It’s one of the oldest words of worship in the Bible, and Christians around the world still use it today, whatever language they speak. Mercy takes that simple word and turns it into a full song of thanksgiving.

Mercy Masika has been one of the most respected voices in East African gospel music for years, and many fans still remember her for songs like “Mwema”. “Hallelujah” adds to that list. It’s a good song for your morning devotion, a moment of thanksgiving after a long week, or a praise session at church.
