Ikupa Mwambenja ft. Zoravo – Mtakatifu

Ikupa Mwambenja has teamed up with Zoravo on a new worship song, “Mtakatifu”. You can stream and download Ikupa Mwambenja Mtakatifu MP3 on this page.

“Mtakatifu” means “Holy” in Swahili. It’s one of the oldest songs of worship there is. In Isaiah 6, the prophet saw angels around God’s throne calling to each other, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.” In Revelation 4, the same words are sung day and night without stopping. When we sing “Mtakatifu”, we’re joining a song that heaven has been singing all along.

Ikupa and Zoravo bring that sense of awe into this song. It’s not about asking God for anything. It’s about standing before Him and recognising how great and pure He is. Play it during your quiet time, at the start of a worship service, or anytime you want to take your eyes off your problems and put them on God.

This is a busy season for Ikupa Mwambenja, who has also released “Ninakuinulia” and “Ni Yesu Tu” recently. Zoravo fans can find more of his songs here.
