Some songs need a long explanation. This one doesn’t. The title says it all: God is good. Not only when the prayers get answered or when things are going well, but all the time. Mercy sings it like someone who has seen that goodness for herself, and that’s what makes it easy to believe along with her.

Mercy Chinwo’s voice has won fans far beyond Nigeria, and many people across Africa first fell in love with her music through “Excess Love”. If that song blessed you, this one will feel familiar in the best way. Play it when you want to count your blessings, during your morning devotion, or anytime you just want to tell God thank you.
